Digital financial services platform Maya has re-enabled on-chain cryptocurrency deposits, permitting account holders to transfer digital assets into the application directly from external wallets and third-party exchanges.
The update reinstates an inbound transfer feature that had previously been unavailable on the mobile platform. The restored capability allows verified accounts to receive supported tokens across compatible blockchain networks, moving assets from domestic platforms such as Coins.ph and Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX), as well as international services like Coinbase.

To receive digital assets, account holders navigate to the cryptocurrency section of the mobile dashboard, choose a specific token and select the corresponding blockchain network. The platform then generates an alphanumeric public address and a scannable QR code. Transfer progress and final confirmations are logged in the transaction history tab within the application.
Maya, which operates under virtual asset service provider guidelines set by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, originally integrated digital asset buying and selling in 2022. While in-app spot trading and conversion to Philippine pesos remained functional, inbound blockchain transfers had faced intermittent access while compliance and custody integrations were adjusted.
